AX Soccer Tours is proud to announce that the talented duo Hannah Kimsey and Lauren Badalamente have put pen to paper securing professional contracts after impressing top tier Swedish club QBIK on trial.

Kimsey was a star performer in the inaugural Women’s Combine last December 2014 and was offered to join Malbacken IF but opted to pursue opportunities in the USA trying to break into the Seattle Reign first team. QBIK came calling for a midfielder and after AX Agency staff recommended the midfielder Kimsey was offered a trial. It’s been a long ride since then and this is what the talented player had to say when we spoke to her.

“It’s a dream come true. I’ve worked my whole life to play professional soccer and now I’m finally getting to do what I love at the next level.”

“I knew I wanted to continue with my soccer career and I had previously heard that combines are a good opportunity to get seen. The AX staff was amazing; they kept in contact with me every step of the way, they also made sure that I was prepared for the move and felt comfortable and safe.

“AX were clear about the expectations coming into the trial, they did and amazing job of advocating for me which provided me with a lot of great opportunities.

“The majority of the players at the combine were of high quality and wanted to further their soccer careers, much like I did. All of the coaches were good at giving helpful feedback and I felt like the event went really well.

“I’m really excited to learn a different style of play and broaden my skills set by learning from my teammates and coaches. I’ll recommend AX to any players looking to further their soccer careers.”

Lauren Badalamente impressed all attending scouts and coaches by her first ever appearance for AX’s combine appearing in San Diego this summer 2015. QBIK were made aware of Badalamente to fill their defensive void along with the midfield spot which was already occupied by Kimsey. QBIK were in search for an attacking full back and Badalamente met their criteria leading to a trial call-up. All this was just within 8 days of Badalamente’s first AX Pro Soccer Combine.

Acing the trial, the former AFC Torino player has been awarded a contract at the club and has fulfilled her dream of playing professional football abroad.

“It feels absolutely amazing,” she said. “Having the opportunity to play a high level and doing it in a whole new world full of surprises and new adventures excites me the most. I was also thrilled to hear such good news and to hear it so fast.”
