AX are extremely pleased to announce the signing of Jason Sangha by Gällivare Malmbergets FF (GMFF), a second tier Swedish football club, after a superb outing at the Fort Lauderdale Combine. This was AX’s first success story of the summer combine circuit and well deserved for the Lynn University Captain.
Sangha’s strong character and personality both on and off the pitch led him to quick success in his professional career. The 6 foot 3 inch central defender started with performances at AX’s UK combine two years ago in January 2013 but failed to convert it into a trial or signing. In circumstances like these most young players tend to give up or get disheartened, but Jason Sangha kept on working hard to improve his game and achieve his goal of becoming a professional soccer player.
Sangha returned in time for the 2015 Fort Lauderdale Combine and finished as one of the best defenders at the event. His string of excellent performances caught the attention of Swedish scout Lars Svensson, who was particularly impressed with Sangha’s on-field leadership qualities and commanding presence in the game and was certain the central defender could play professionally in Europe.
AX is delighted to see Jason Sangha’s hard work paying off at last and wish the defender all the best for his new career in Swedish football with Gällivare Malmbergets FF.
